Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is prepared for the return leg of the Champions League clash against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Tuchel claimed that Real Madrid is a huge favourite to advance to the next round, but that doesn’t stop his team from dreaming to set an upset for Carlo Ancelotti’s men.

The Blues were heavily defeated at the Stamford Bridge with Real Madrid recording a 3-1 win against the Premier League team last week with Karim Benzema scoring a hat-trick in that encounter.

Tuchel in his press conference appears to play a mind game with Ancelotti during his pre-match conference, he insisted that his team has a very slim chance to advance to the next round despite being the one in charge the last season when Real Madrid was bundled out by the German’ tactician team and went on to win the Champions League for Chelsea.

“The challenge is incredibly high given the circumstances of the first leg and where we play and against whom we play. It’s always allowed to dream and it is sometimes important to imagine things and to dream about it, but it will not shift the focus from the fact that we need to deliver and be ready tomorrow, Tuchel said.

Real Madrid is unperturbed with his opinion with the home team solely focused on the upcoming clash having survived a nightmare against highly explosive Paris Saint-Germain’s attack in the round of 16 to set up a tie with the defending champions in the quarter-finals.
