English champions Manchester City would be heading into tonight’s game against Bayern Munich as favourite to progress into the semi-finals to face perennial champions Real Madrid. Pep Guardiola’s side are going into the game with a 3-0 advantage from their first leg scintillating performance at the Etihad. City are boosted with recovery of England international Phil Foden, who has been sidelined since March after undergoing appendicitis surgery and has not played eversince. The 22-year-old star join his teammates in training this week and has been included in the trip to Munich for the crucial quarter final game against Bayern Munich. Guardiola will name the youngster in the bench for the European tie, his presence would surely boost the morale of the City’s squad. Guardiola was very happy with the return of Phil Foden, “We are delighted. It’s good news for us,” the manager said. “He’s just had one training session yesterday. We are excited he will travel with us.”
